About me.
With over 10 years in the industry creating visual content for various media, combining creativity with technical skills. Proficient in design software and principles. Demonstrated the ability to adapt to client needs. I've designed logos and layouts working across digital and print formats. A problem-solver, creative with previous collaborative experience. Balancing aesthetics with functionality to meet project goals.

Experience.
Currently a creative hobby. Creating informative and dynamic content based on personal events, hobbies and interests. Allowing me to express myself within the public domain. Thereby overcoming fears and anxieties associated with being on camera. With time, I have gradually improved production quality and upgraded equipment; From 4K cameras, green screens and tripods to deliver the best content possible, amassing over 800 subscribers.
Using Adobe Illustrator and utilising brand assets, creating dynamic design examples of digital and print versions of a catalogue, displaying all goods sold.
Responsible for the infrastructure, server, social media, analytics and design direction for the site. Including monitoring user activity, user curation and enforcement of T&C's. Writing and updating about pages, privacy policies and T&C's. Previously designed and provided a free app for the site on the Android and Apple App Stores.
Assisting and making edits using HTML and CSS with virtual enviroments used by clients. Attended meetings with stakeholders at all levels of the business to agree on the design strategy. This was during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, ergo it was remote/working from home.
Responsible for the creation of bespoke-related web design and development tasks based on incoming client requests. Mostly the customisation of existing WordPress websites, hosted on MHM's server before the final article.
Established and guided the website's architecture. Demonstrated creativity and problem solving. Managed all technical and secure aspects of the WordPress website. Created imagery and designs from briefs. Created product pages including all necessary information.
2016 → 2021: Live-in Carer for my elderly grandmother while pursuing/doing design jobs on a freelance basis.
Collaborated with the design team to develop an eventual iOS app for Democratise. Due to funding issues, the project was eventually scrapped. The focus soon turned to developing a mobile version of their website.
Received client briefs and created work from start to end points. Producing tangible designs from client and senior designers. Ensure the site was working as expected using testing methodologies. Followed guidelines set out by design briefs.
2011: Job-jumped to Democratise Ltd.
2012 → 2014: Studying full-time on a two-year degree course in Digital Media.
Created visually appealing, user-friendly websites. Focusing on layout, design, accessibility and functionality.
2010 → 2011: Attended university to study a BSc Web Development degree course.
